why go halfway

You can see it over there but I want to begin the discussion. Everyone, the first half of 2008, what have you got. Only five albums released so far this year have a shot at my final ten unless Vampire Weekend or the Magnetic Fields resume growing. Rising Down is sneaky, though.

1. Be Your Own Pet - Get Awkward (w/Get Damaged)
2. Katy Perry - One of the Boys
3. Hot Chip - Made in the Dark
4. The Hold Steady - Stay Positive
5. No Age - Nouns

it's kinda mixtapey in spots but boosie's one of the better rappers around right now. you gotta get used to his voice, but once that happens it becomes a real selling point. im not too sure about his albums, but 'da beginning' is really steeped in texas rap sounds

also excited for the new king khan album but that's based on the one mp3 i've heard of it
