Yeah, I like this one a whole lot more than I expected to. I'm kind of disturbed at how much of this crunchy hippie bullshit I'm actually sort of liking. I used to have no time for these Animal bands, and now I've found something to like about both Dodos and Fleet Foxes. I even might think Yeasayer and their drum circle bullshit is alright (though for me, that particular jury still has a few recalcitrant members).
I haven't played the Dodos' Visiter yet, but the four or five live or live-in-studio things were strictly OK. They harbored a lot of tension without really going anywhere melodically.
Have you heard Fleet Foxes' "White Winter Hymnal" yet? Jesus Christ.
